As I have stepped up my training in prep for the sectionals coming up, I have gotten a little beat up. So I have stepped up my recovery efforts as well. Proper nutrition as always, but also lots of foam rolling and active rest. Another good recovery stratagie, often overlooked, is ice baths. For anyone who hasnt done one before the are INTENSE but a good recovery tool. Check out this article on ice baths.
