At CrossFit San Ramon we believe in a sustainable and balanced life style in which you can thrive. It is with this goal in mind we have created a systematic method to help you increase your fitness. CrossFit currently offers two types of classes; CrossFit WOD classes and CrossFit Blast Classes. The Blast classes are modified versions of the WOD classes, are always 30 minutes long and do not require passing a movement screen for participation.
Before Joining a CrossFit WOD class you need to learn the nine basic movements and becoming familiar with our gym equipment. If you already have experience with CrossFit you will need to show safe and proficient execution of the nine movements and safe use of our gym equipment. Your will learn these movements during 1-3 fundamental sessions which you schedule individually with your coach. There is no additional cost for these initial sessions. Once your coach feels you are ready you will be cleared to enter the CrossFit WOD classes and use the Open Gym.
The Movement Screen is a test that ensures that you can perform the Crossfit movements safely and effectively and also tests your knowledge of the safe and effective use of Crossfit gym equipment.
Open Gym allows you to come in and do the WOD or your own workout using the CrossFit San Ramon Facility.
You must have passed the Movement Screen before you are allowed to use the Open Gym privilege
The WOD Classes are limited to 12 participants per instructor. The workout of the day will be done as a group. Technique instruction and modifications will be given as needed as part of the warm-up. Our gym creates in own WOD schedule following the CrossFit guidelines and also using many classic CrossFit workouts. CrossFit main site workouts posted daily in addition to CrossFit San Ramon WOD’s
The Blast Class is a 30 minute class. Everyday is different and workouts are usually a modified version of the WOD. Blast Classes can be attended by any of of any ability level. There is no prerequisit to attending a Blast class. Classes are intense, fast but fully modifiable.
Private coaching is available to improve your CrossFit workouts, Running Technique or Get a Workout which is more specifically tailored to your sport or interest.

If you are not a CrossFit member yet, now is the perfect time to join. We offer new members a One Week Trial. We want to make sure you get the full CrossFit experience with your One Week Trial so your trial week includes:
1 Fundamentals of Movement Session: This session is done privately or in a small group (6 or less participants). During the Fundamentals session we evaluate your movement, make modifications and teach you proper form for the fundamental movements we will be using in our classes.
1 Personal Goal and Nutrition Session: During this session we will talk to you about your goals and educate you about how to fuel your body properly for weight loss, to maximize your energy and to stabalize your metabolic and energy systems of your body.
Unlimited Group Classes: During your week you will be able to attend as manyCrossFit classes as you like giving you a chance to get to know the coaches, the members, and to get a real feel for the flow of the program.
