What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

The workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting and running executed at high intensity.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our armed forces, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

3 ”ON RAMP” Movement Sessions:  These sessions are done privately or in a small group (usually 1 to 6  participants). During the ”On Ramp” sessions we evaluate your movement,  teach you proper form for the fundamental movements we will be using in our classes and how to properly use the equipment for your current ability level.  VALUE $ 240

1 Nutrition Session: During the 1st on ramp session we will talk to you about your goals and educate you about how to fuel your body properly for weight loss, to maximize your energy and to stabalize your metabolic and energy systems of your body.  At CrossFit San Ramon we see changes in people due to their nutrition.  We share those findings with you, weight loss, improved health, reduced inflamation, reduced pain and increased performance.

Additional support is available and all trainers have a CrossFit nutrition certification.
