SPOTLIGHT ON – KELLY!
- When did you join CFSR & why?
I joined CFSR last fall after my husband, who had already joined kept coming home and telling me all about it and started encouraging me to go as well. Initially I was very hesitant and didn’t think I would ever be “that type of a hard core athlete,” yet after weeks of him encouraging me to go, I finally went and realized how fun it was and how down to earth all of the other people were too. Just other moms and dads and individuals wanting to get in shape.
- What positive changes have you felt, noticed, etc?
I’ve learned so many new skills and tried box jumps, kettle bells and other equipment I’ve always been too intimidated to try. The workouts push me to work harder than I ever thought I could push myself on my own. I feel so much healthier and less hungry after the workouts too and feel so much better in my clothes.
- What keeps you coming to CFSR?
The people. It’s not just a gym, it’s a family. Everyone is so encouraging and positive and we’re all there to help motivate and encourage one another. It’s just a fun place to go. Even our kid’s love coming and working out now too!
