Recently a lot of people in the health and nutrition world have been calling out against a new villain in our food, Trans-Fatty Acids. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently passed a law giving food manufacturers until Jan. 1, 2006, to list trans-fat on the nutrition label. The new labeling will make all foods and most supplements list the trans-fat content of foods if it contains more than 0.5 grams of trans-fat per serving.
