Ed Johnson~ Coach, Personal Trainer Level 1 Crossfit Certified Ed is a bay area native that has been involved in fitness, sports, and movement since high school. He has traveled to many different places and worked with many different styles of movement coaches. Ed’s background mostly comes from his experience as a dancer and as a gymnastics coach. In high school Ed competed as a wrestler in the EBAL league, which ignited his career in dance which since 1999 he has trained as a B-boy and competed at a high level world wide and is part of San Francisco’s own Renegade Rockers. He has won many events including the Out for Fame City title in 2007 and has also appeared in the Crown City Rockers video “B-boy” in 2006. In 2009, Ed went on the compete in Korea’s R-16, which is an international Breakdance competition held annually where 16 of the world’s top dance crews attend.Ed worked as a coach and program manager at AcroSports in the Off-Site and Outreach program where he teaches tumbling, gymnastics and Breakdancing in communities all over San Francisco through AcroSports’ Mobile Acrobat Training. In 2011 and 2012 AcroSports sponsored the Zanzibar Stonestown Crew project where they sent three master instructors, including Ed Johnson, to teach a group of youth in Zanzibar, Africa Acrobatics, Breakdance, and Capoeira. Recently, he has found CrossFit through Carl Paoli, who has help him create new standards for the art of B-Boying to enhance techniques. Jessica has been doing CrossFit for 3 years now. She played soccer for 15 years, 3 years on the varsity high school team. She played 6 years of softball, 2 on the varsity team. During those 2 years she made “All League” and “MVP” both years. She has taken 2 yoga classes and a “Pilates 2” class at Las Positas community college. This girl eats, sleeps, and breathes CrossFit! She is stoked to be part of our crew! And WE are stoked to have her!

Lorraine has had lifetime passion for fitness. She has been active in sports and fitness since junior high, including swimming, roller derby, bootcamps, bodybuilding and CrossFit! Her latest endeavor was to compete in a natural figure competition. Setting training and nutrition goals with her coach, she placed first! Two years ago, Lorraine was encouraged by her coaches and friends to earn her NASM Certified Personal Training credentials when they could see that fitness and helping others is what she loves to do most. She is also certified as an CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Her passion is helping people to reach their fitness goals and empowering them to honor their bodies at whatever their level of fitness is. She started CrossFit in 2012 after deciding her workouts were not allowing her to reach her personal fitness goals and it was love at first WOD.
