As a Navy veteran, long deployment was very exhausting and monotonous. I found that fitness was key to physical and mental health. I tried all forms of fitness throughout the years from Globo Gyms to BootCamps to fads like P90X or Tae Bo with little results, lots of injuries and little motivation. After getting married and having 3 wonderful kids I finally gave CrossFit a try in 2015. I found it community driven, challenging and life altering. Since then I have strived to improve in all of CrossFits different domains.
I can honestly say that I’m in the best shape of my life physically and mentally. - Rodel
